Hamden Restaurant Week
on tap September 21 to 26 will also feature local musicians
HAMDEN, CT -- The Hamden Regional Chamber of Commerce and presenting sponsor Bankwell, are pleased to announce the 10th Annual Hamden Restaurant Week, from Monday, September 21 through Saturday, September 26.
“We’re thrilled to partner with Bankwell once again to make this annual event possible,” said Nancy Dudchik, HRCC President. “We’re glad to have them join us in showcasing all our diverse and unique eateries. It’s wonderful to have Bankwell support the community in this way. Restaurant Week also is a great opportunity for people to discover a new restaurant or revisit an old favorite for great prices and deals.”
Participants will offer either a $9 to $15 prix fixe lunch, a $20 to $35 prix fixe dinner (or both), or a buy-one-get-one option.
The 15 participating eateries are: Aunt Chilada’s, Funcle’s Café, Bomb Wings & Rice Bar, Eli’s on Whitney, Freskos, Ibiza Tapas & Wine Bar, Ixtapa Grill, Mickey’s Restaurant & Bar, Ristorante Luce, Side Street Grille, The Playwright Irish Pub, Mikro, TexiKo, Café Amici and Fresh Greens & Proteins.
The Chamber is also excited to partner with Hamden Department of Arts and Culture who will be featuring live music and entertainment at many of our participating restaurants. Hamden’s Department of Arts, Culture & Special Projects along with the Hamden Arts Commission are thrilled to be part of the Chamber’s Restaurant Week, said Julie Smith, Director of Arts, Culture & Special Projects. “With the generous sponsorship of All American Waste, we’re able to present live musical entertainment performed by numerous Hamden musicians at the participating restaurants. This is a wonderful opportunity to showcase our great restaurants and support and spotlight our many talented musicians living right here in Hamden.  What a treat for all of us!”
For ten years, Hamden Restaurant Week has given residents, around the New Haven county area, the opportunity to enjoy the remarkable variety of cuisines available in Hamden, and to support those vital local businesses. If there was ever a time to get out and support local, this is the year. To see menu options and offerings from participating restaurants and a list of the local musicians, visit iloverestaurantweek.com or find us on Facebook at Hamden Restaurant Week.
