Re-Mounting BOX 125 to the pole at Norris and Whitney

Norris and Whitney (Photo taken 1/16/2015)
VOILA!
This IS the utility pole at Norris Street and Whitney Avenue, still decorated with the red paint that denoted utility poles with fire alarm boxes. The white rings at the top and bottom, still somewhat discernable, signified bus stops.

Hamden's fire alarm Box 125 has not been mounted on this utility pole since 1998, when all of Hamden's Gamewell alarm boxes were removed from service. The Box 125 pictured on the right is owned by an HFRA member, purchased in Boston in the mid-1970s.  It was Photo-Shopped onto the pole.

It's all done with mirrors!
